Sulli was my best friend Holly’s dad. Holly and I have been friends for over 25 years so being around the Sheppard family was the norm. Sulli had a way of bringing laughter into any room. He had jokes, many, many, many jokes. Some I got and some I just laughed at to be polite. He had a special way of doing things to drive us crazy (he got a kick out of it) as teenagers like starting the lawn mower super early trying to wake us up or at 5-6 in the morning standing by Holly’s open window yelling “whipperwhill” like a bird. As an adult these are stories/memories I LOVE and I tell as a part of my childhood and have told several times to friends and told last Saturday to my sister in fact, although she had heard the whipperwhill one before. Sulli was not my father but a second dad to say the least, he was supportive when I wanted to go to culinary school to be a baker and would help by calling me saying he has 20 dollars and wants me to make him some chocolates, which I always did. Anytime I would see him the first thing he would say is “Suz where are my chocolates” which i didn’t mind , made me feel like I made good chocolates ❤️. Being around him you always knew how much he loved his family. Last time I saw him, which was a few months ago he was beaming with pride talking about Holly and how successful she is in NYC. He told Me, the front desk, the doctor and anyone else who would listen all about her. Proud dad he was and you could tell, not only in his words but with his expressions. He was an amazing, funny, loving person whom I will miss everyday... Love u Sulli when I see you again I’ll bring some chocolates. ❤️

Josh was one of a kind. I thought of him as my second dad. He was absolutely genuine, so loving and the funniest man I’ve ever known. I am thankful for the memories I will always have of him and my second family. My love is with you all.
