Obituary of Anne Posey Jones

Anne Cathey Jones, age 81, of Sylva passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home in Sylva. She is the daughter of the late Posey and the late Evelyn (Campbell) Cathey.  She was married for 61 years to her lifelong friend Claude Jones. 

Anne was a member of Sylva First United Methodist Church, was head lab technician at Harris Hospital in 1960 and worked for 20 years as Library Assistant in Takoma Park, MD.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son David Jones of Maryland

She is preceded in death by one son Mark Jones and one brother Ben Cathey.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday September, 9th at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church in Sylva. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 pm.
