Obituary of Conrad Adrion Fowler

Conrad Adrion Fowler Sr. son to the late Edward and Fannie Fowler passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 87. Adrion lived a full and rich life. Father to Nancy (Jimmy) McCall, Susan (Rick) Miles, Kim (Mike) Watt and Bubba (Gina) Fowler Jr., he was dedicated to his family and community. Owner of Cashiers Hardware for 37 years and one of the largest Christmas farms in Western North Carolina which he worked alongside with his brothers for 54 years. Adrion was a founding member and Captain of the Glenville Cashiers Rescue Squad and the Cashiers-Glenville Fire Department. He loved his country and served her faithfully in the United States Air Force. Following in his father's footsteps and the calling of his risen Lord, he attended the Cashiers Baptist Church for many years. Adrion is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Georgia Ann Reid Fowler along with all of his four children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchild, two brothers Marvin and Ray Fowler and one sister Faye Stewart. Adrion is proceeded by his mother, father, brother Kenneth Fowler, and sister Doris Bumgarner. Captain Fowler has answered the final page of his Heavenly Father and joins an unbroken circle in the sky. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Cashiers Baptist Church in Cashiers, NC with Revs. Trenton Connelly and Ralph Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Glenville-Cashiers Rescue Squad or Cashiers-Glenville Fire Department Appalachian Funeral Services is serving the family.
