Obituary of Nezzie Lee Price

Nezzie "Peggy" Price, 95, longtime resident of the Dicks Creek Community, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Thursday September 20, 2018. A native of Lamont, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Flora Inez Fountain. She worked as a Librarian Tech for over 24 years with the Palm Beach County Schools, where she had lived for more than 54 years. After retiring she was librarian for 10 years at Bethesda by the Sea. A member of East Sylva Baptist Church for more than 35 years, she loved doing any type of crafting, loved the mountains of Western North Carolina and especially her flowers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Charles O. Fountain and her sister Naomi Fountain Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Arnold Price Son- Steven Wayne (Jacqui) Price of Waynesville Daughter- Patricia Jean (Robert) McDonald of Huntersville, NC 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren Sister- Betty Heard of Lakeland, Fla Funeral Services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday September 25 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Charles Dean, Reed Benson and John Reid officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wrightsville, Georgia.
