Obituary of Rev. Donald Lee Riddle

Pastor Donald Lee Riddle, age 70, of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 28, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. 
He was the son of the late Lee and Margaret Riddle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Riddle. 
Pastor Don worked at Ecusta for 36 years. He was the pastor of Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Tuckasagee, NC for 26 years. He also pastored Blue Ridge Baptist Church from 1985 through 1991. He loved his church family but most of all he loved to preach the Word of God and see souls saved. 
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife of 51 years, Jeraldine Wilson Riddle, one daughter, Cynthia Moore and husband Steve of Crestview, FL, two sisters, Barbara Baker and husband Raymond of Brevard and Martha Johnson and husband Rick of Etowah, four brothers, Lionel Riddle and wife Brenda, Robert Riddle and wife Rhonda, Ernie Riddle and wife Pam and Bruce Riddle and wife Trudy all of Brevard, granddaughters, Cymone and Jahara and several nieces and nephews. 
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Benton for his loving care during Don’s illness. 
Funeral services will be held 1pm, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Glady Branch Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm at the church. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
