To the Family and loved ones of Rogers Shelton,
My condolences and prayers to all the family. I came to know Rogers in
the summer of 1955. Rogers gave me my first job (summer) @ The Dairy Queen in that year. I worked for him thru 1959 while I was in High School.
I came to know his parents, his wife Rita. Roger was a Mentor to me, he inspired me in so many ways. He will never be forgotten, a man I shall always respect. May God bless each of you in this time of great Loss.

I visited Mr Shelton last week at Morning Star and was so sad to hear of his passing this morning. I will truly miss him, as I have missed Miss Rita since her passing. It was always a pleasure chatting with them at the tomato shed on Thomas Valley Rd. I have been blessed just knowing them
My sincere sympathy to the Shelton Family.
