Obituary of Minnie Louise Long

Minnie Louise Long, 97, of Glenville, North Carolina went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was born in Glenville on March 13, 1921. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Grinnell E. Long, Sr. on March 15, 1987, by her parents Dyer and Minnie Lusk, and by her four brothers Clarence, Clinton, Everett and Earl Lusk.  

Louise is survived by two sons, Grinnell E. (Leah) Long Jr and Lee Roy (Shirley) Long; Grandchildren Betty Greco, Michael Long, Rachel Buzzeo, Leanne Trent, Jamie Buchanan, John Buchanan, Jennifer Bright and Misti Webb; fifteen Great Grandchildren, seventeen Great, Great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral will be held at the Hamburg Baptist Church, 4673 Highway 107, Glenville, North Carolina 28736 on Thursday, October 18, 2018.  Visitation with family and friends will be from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Revs Greg Hammon and Johnny Norris will be officiating at the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Hamburg Baptist Church in memory of Minnie Louise Long.
