Obituary of Bill Rhinehart

Bill Rhinehart, age 66, of Sylva went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was the husband of Rosemary B. Rhinehart and the son of the late Junior Rhinehart and the late Lucy Biddix.  

He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He worked as a curved hose molder at Dayco for 24 ½ years and retired as a Surveillance Officer at the Cherokee Casino. He loved to fish and camp. Bill was a loving husband and a beloved father.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two babies; Janet Lynne and Jeanette Gail, his stepfather; Sam Biddix, one brother; Carl Rhinehart and several aunts and uncles.   

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary B. Rhinehart, two sons; Allen (Jennifer) Rhinehart and Michael Rhinehart, five grandchildren; Jasmine (Shane), Jeanette, Aaron (Mikayla), Angel and Brandon Rhinehart and three great grandchildren; Isaac, Julien and Fiona. He is also survived by one sister; Doris Thorne of Virginia and several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev.  Earl Holden officiating.  Burial will follow in Love Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services.
