Obituary of Mary Lynn Queen

Mary “Lynn” Queen, 50, of Cullowhee, NC passed away December 13, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lillard and is survived by her mother Doris (Wykle) Lillard. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Russell Queen. Lynn was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and was also a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who would always put her family first.

She is survived by three children Chris Queen (Falon), Ashley Queen (Calvin) and Robbie Queen; two grandchildren Daysha Lossiah and Charley Queen; one sister Kathy McMahan (David); two brothers Steve Lillard (Lee) and Ricky Lillard (Patti).

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by two siblings Robert “Red” Lillard and Rhonda Lillard.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Keith Ashe, Rev. Avery Brown and Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday December 15, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Queen Cemetery.
