I am so sorry for you loss but your loss was Heavens gain and really you have not lost Curtis for you know where He is.
Curtis and I worked together and I have known him for a long time. He also hauled some stuff for us to West Virginia several times.
May God Bless you and reassure that He is in complete control and that He loves you.

Gertrude - I am so sorry about Curtis. I, unfortunately, had a senior day yesterday. When I read the obit - I, for some reason, thought visiting was today (Tuesday). I thought a lot last week and this week about when we were all a lot younger. Bill and Curtis were such good friends and Wagon Trained together for many years. I miss all the friends from back then. Curtis will be missed by anyone who knew him. He was such a great guy (and such fun). My thoughts, prayers and sympathy to you and your family.

Curtis was the best of the best! He had an amazing way of making each person feel special with his kind smile, caring nature and those wonderful stories he loved to share. He was a blessing, a joy and an inspiration. After talking with Curtis you went away with a smile on your face and in your heart. He will be a man whose memory will live on in so many lives. We loved him and will miss him and we send our love and sympathy to his family and all who loved him. Mike and Norma Clayton

Curtis was loved by all. He was a dedicated Christian, who loved the Lord, his family and friends. He always had a friendly smile and kind word to share. He was a dear friend to our dad and they had many years of friendship and having fun talking about their trucks and going to truck shows. May God give your family comfort, strength and peace during this difficult time. Our Love and prayers to your family.

Curtis was a wonderful man. When Curtis rode his wagon up our road, he would pick me and Brad up at the bottom of our road and ride us all the way to his house. Curtis never met a stranger and loved everyone. Praying for you all.
Love,
Beth Stillwell Reeves

I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Curtis about three years ago when I started working at Davita Dialysis in Sylva. From day one of meeting him he made me feel special. He was always so happy and positive and always made my day better. His favorite thing was getting his coffee and protein bar as soon as I hooked him up to the machine. He always said he only came to dialysis for the coffee and hugs. He will always hold a special place in my heart. Praying for your family.

The Allison Family: I gave much thought and consideration to a title and cover design for my fourth book, "Humdinger's". One night, in the wee hours, I awoke suddenly and the word "humdingers" was revealed to me. And so was a picture of Curtis Allison telling one of his tall tales. Curtis was truly a humdinger, one-of-a-kind for sure. If anybody had more friends than Curtis Allison, I'm yet to meet him or her. He will be remembered as a gentle man who was comfortable being himself in any situation.
