Obituary of Dale Moss

Dale Moss 66, of Cullowhee, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning January 24, 2019. A lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Gus and Bertha Moss.

Dale was a member of Fall Cliff Baptist Church and he loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed gun shows, turkey shoots and visiting pawn shops and flea markets with his friends. Dale was a real people person who loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Aileen McFalls Moss

His children; Alan Dale Moss, Angela Moss (Timothy) Pummer, Eric Gus Moss all of Cullowhee

5 Grandchildren- James Aaron Pummer, Justin Pummer , Andrew Jordan Pummer, Rebekka Marie Moss and Alexzander William Gus Moss.

2 Sisters; Joyce Smith and Gail Bryson both of South Carolina

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019, in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Austin Frady, Tommy Holden and Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fall Cliff Church Cemetery.
