Obituary of L.C. Brown

L.C. Brown, age 78, of Tuckasegee, NC went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Thad and Fanny Mae Brown of Tuckasegee, NC, one sister; Delma Gean (Vernon) Shelton, one nephew; Stanley Shelton and one brother-in-law; Hoyle Phillips. He is survived by one sister; Betty Dean Phillips of Ringgold, GA, several nieces and nephews; Ferlin (Meredith) Phillips, Shelia (Phillip) Sharp, and Faron (Kim) Phillips, all of Ringgold, GA and Vernice, Laverne, Carolyn and Roger Shelton, all of Rome, GA. He is further survived by several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. John Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodring Cemetery in Tuckasegee, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services as well as on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
