Georgia was a beautiful soul and I will miss her so much. I loved helping her in her home during college and hate to hear of her passing. My sweet Georgia may you be in peace and know of all the love that you spread here on earth. Anna Pierce Adams

I cherish my memories with Georgia while I was in college. We went to church and read some wonderful books together. She was a great listener, teacher and gave the best loving advice. I’m so greatful for our time together and will always hold her in my heart.

I have so many memories of Georgia - she was fun-loving, caring, gentle, strong and strong-willed. Her upbeat spirit and warm personality endeared her to her Cane Creek neighbors and she became "one of us." She was a friend and mentor to me and my sisters. I loved her and will miss her.

If we all could have seen the world through Georgia's eyes and hearts, we would all have a more positive outlook on life Georgia was an angel sent to earth to bless many people she met along her journey. It was a sincere pleasure knowing Jay and Georgia Hickes.

Neighbor Georgia Hickes moved here on Cane Creek only a little after I did. From time to time I would share a home grown vegetable with her, and she relished sweet corn in July or August. She always greeted me when I stopped by. My last memory was only last year with her riding down the road in a pony drawn cart. I saw the cart go up the road a little earlier and did not know she was aboard but as they came back, from across Cane Creek she said, "Dan, it is me." I said, "Oh, great to see you". That beautiful smile and exuberant personality made my day. May her spirit remain with us as part of Cane Creek community.
