Obituary of Betty Lou Henson

Betty Rice Henson, 71, of Cashiers, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday April 30, 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Cashiers, she was the daughter of the late Edd and Gracie Rice. She was a member of Cashiers Baptist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Henson Sr. and her siblings; Junie, Buck, Ervin, Lloyd and Charlie. She is survived by; Daughters- Tina Krafft of Cashiers Kristy (RJ) Ward of Oriental, NC Sons- Charles Henson Jr. of Cashiers Brandon (Bridget) Henson of Cashiers 7 Grandchildren- Kimberly, Jennifer, Leigh, Zach, Samantha, Ethan and Chase Several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday May 4, 2019 at Cashiers Baptist Church with the Revs. Johnny Norris and Scotty Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the Service from 1:00 till 3:00PM at the Church. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Rice, Tommy McCall, Ronnie, Waller, Eldon Jamison, Jonathan Villareal and Fabian Villareal .
