To The Family,
I can not begin to say how wonderful Leota was. I first met her while she was volunteering at the Eckerd Living Center several years back. We were reacquainted last fall while she was in the hospital, then Nursing home. Then recently in hospital and Nursing home. Leota was by far one of the most amazing women I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her relationship with God, her outlook of life and family. This time she was at a different place in life. I understood it, not depressed but very comfortable with the knowledge this was her time. I know your grief even though you "know where she is" Yet wanting to keep her around. I just want you to know the impact she had on this chaplain. I shall not soon forget Leota. Each evening as we parted we would both say if I don't see you tomorrow, I'll see you at home. One day I look forward to greeting her again on "the other side of Jordan." Thank you for sharing her.
