Obituary of Bonnie Bernice Davis

Bonnie Bryant Davis, age 77, of Sylva passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at Skyland Care Center of Sylva, NC.  Bonnie was born January 1, 1942 in Murphy, NC. She is the daughter of the late Raymond and the late Lassie (Oliver) Bryant.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time at the beach and she dearly loved her dog Cocoa.

She is survived by two sons Cleveland Davis and wife Roberta of Whittier and Scotty Davis and wife Donna of Cullowhee; one daughter Patsy Conner and husband Joe of Cullowhee; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one sister Shirley Parker.

Bonnie is preceded in death by four brothers JR, Buford, JC and Walter Bryant; one sister Betty Hopkins; father of her children CD Davis and one grandson Jeffrey Davis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Caleb Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm.

Burial will follow the service at Parris Cemetery.
