Obituary of Marion Lou Beegle

Marion Beegle, 85, of Cullowhee, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning June 6, 2019. A native of Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Louise Williams. Marion was a member of Cullowhee Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed working with the youth group and organizing mission trips for them. She loved to sew, paint and do crafts but cherished her time with her family camping at Grandfather Mountain for the Highland Games. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Dr. John Beegle, her daughter Manda Franklin and her brother Jack Williams. She is survived by; Son- Michael Litchford (Robin) of Raleigh Daughter- Jan Beegle of Sylva Son- John Beegle Jr. (Laurie) of Franklin 15 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren also survive. A Celebration of Marion's life will be held 3:30 PM Sunday June 9, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church of Sylva. The family will receive friends immediately following the Service at the Church.
