I enjoyed visiting with you at church and around town. You always had a smile on your face and kinds words to say about everyone. You will be missed by my parents as well. They often spoke about you hitting the golf balls in your yard and how you loved to be on your tractor. Your family is in our prayers.

We shared many rounds of golf with Homer who always displayed patience, kindness, and fairness toward others. He was a very interesting person to engage in conversations; shared his love of gardening (as well as his bean seeds) with us. We will miss him.

To the Family and loved ones of Homer Holden. I grew up in Sylva, knew Homer, had very high respect for him and yes I know he loved the people of Western North carolina, he was always postive, a gentle and compassionate man. To Bob, his brother, you have my condolences. I remember good times as we all grew up and shared times at Sylva Central High School. He was a good Man. My prayers are with All his loved ones. Dear Atha and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Homer! I really wish we could be there for his service, but please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers! Jeffray and I really enjoyed spending time with you and Homer when we were there in January visiting with Cheryl and Leonard, just wish it could have been longer. Homer gave Jeffray some good gardening tips which he put to good use with the little garden he planted. Hopefully I can come back up in the summer for another visit.
Love,
Rhonda Breisinger
