Obituary of Angela Dawn McMahan Sellers

Angela Dawn McMahan Sellers, 51, of Sylva, went to Heaven on Saturday July 6, 2019. She was greeted there by her grandparents Kenneth and Evelyn Reed and Willie and Fannie Sellers. Angie graduated from Sylva-Webster High School , class of 1986, and then graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1992. She was able to work in law enforcement until diabetic complications caused her to go on disability. She enjoyed spending her time with her niece Jayda.

She is survived by her mother; Brenda Reed Sellers of Sylva, and her father; Neal Sellers and his wife Julie of Sylva.

Funeral Services will be held at her Church, Scotts Creek Baptist Church, 2:00 PM Wednesday July 10, 2019, with the Pastor J.D.Grant officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Church. At all other times the family will be gathering at her brothers home, 17 Mills Branch Rd., Sylva, NC 28779. In lieu of flowers Memorials can be made to the Childrens/Youth Fund at Scotts Creek Baptist Church, 97 Steeple Rd, Sylva, NC 28779
