Obituary of Virginia Rodriguez

Virginia Rodriguez, 80, of Webster, passed away Saturday August 3, 2019. A native of Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pedro Rodriguez and Virginia Robles. She was a devoted wife and the most loving mother to her daughter, Millie Cowan and her son Jose Morales. She loved many things including knitting, sewing and cooking, but most of all her biggest passion was making her family feel special and loved. Virginia was a beautiful soul that always lended a helping hand and was kind to everyone whom she met. In her later years she dedicated herself to her grandchildren and showered them with love and understanding when they needed it the most. She will be deeply missed but is now our Angel in the Sky.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jose Morales Rivera who passed away March 31, 2019. 

She is survived by her daughter Millie Morales Cowan (Jim) of Webster

Son- Jose Morales Rodriguez (Mayra) of Lajas, Puerto Rico

6 Grandchildren- Michael Clark, Gini Clark, Laura Clark, Jose A. Morales, Mayra Morales, William Morales  and 3 great grandchildren also survive.

Sisters- Maria and Ruth E. Rodriguez

Special daughter-in-law- Fabiluz Rivera

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 noon Monday August 12, 2019 at the State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
