Obituary of Vanessa Danielle Mexicano

Vanessa Mathis Mexicano, 31 of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Monday August 12, 2019. She was the wife of Miguel Mexicano and the daughter of Carl (Phyllis) Mathis and Janice (Jesus) Garcia.

She dearly loved her family. Her children were her whole world. She loved to cook her Mexican dishes.

She is survived by her husband of two years Miguel Mexicano, two sons; J.J. and Tristan and four daughters; Veronica, Sarah, Shelby and Evolet.

She is further survived by one brother; Mackenzie Mathis, two sisters;  Diedre Mathis and Katherine McSpadden, one stepbrother; Jason Israel and two stepsisters- Alexandria Israel and Joanna Garcia.

Several Aunts, uncles and a host of good friends also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday  August 15, 2019 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Marcus Owen officiating. A graveside service will follow at Charleys Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
