Obituary of Deral Bradley

Deral Bradley, 89, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday September 8, 2019. A resident of Jackson County for most of his life, he was the son of the late Harrison and Elba Deitz Bradley. 

Deral was co-owner/operator of B&B Lumber Company and was a U.S.Army Veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America and was the founder of Troop 900 in the Savannah Community of Jackson County. Deral was an avid Atlanta Braves fan who loved golfing, raising cattle, canning and spending time with his grandchildren, who he loved with all his heart !  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wives; Elizabeth "Libby Dale" Bumgarner Bradley and Peggy Deitz Woodard Bradley as well as his 6 siblings. 

He is survived by;

2 Sons- Larry Bradley (Gina) of Mills River, NC

              Bob Bradley (Karen) of Greenville, TN

Stepdaughter- Kathy Woodard of Pendleton, SC

4 Grandchildren- Matthew, Hays, Bert and Luke

1 Brother- Guy Bradley of Blairsville, GA

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday September 11, 2019 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Love Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Bradley, Hays Colbreth, Bert Bradley, Luke Bradley, TJ Bradley, Tanner Bradley, Robbie Middleton and Mike Hoyle
