Obituary of Libby Nations

Libby Nations, age 66, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Vance Nations and the daughter of the late Frank and Bernice Andrews.

She loved sewing and painting and dearly loved her family. 

Libby is survived by her husband; Vance Nations, two sons; Andy McMahan and David MaMahan, one daughter; Millie (Richard) Wood, one granddaughter; Madison Wood and one grandson; Trevor Wood. She is also survived by one sister; Lynn (Earl) Kirkland and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Hensley Cemetery in the Wilmont Community with the Rev. Jeff Mathis officiating. The family will speak with friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Libby's honor to: Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
