Obituary of Ruth Isabel Paul

Ruth Mary Isabel Colgan Paul, 79, of the Pumpkin Town Community died Friday September 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Miami, FL on June 29, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Isabel Monagham Colgan. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Clyde Paul Sr. and two brothers, David and Thomas R. Colgan, and one sister, Florence Madsen. She was a Member of Victory Baptist Church and she enjoyed doing puzzles and going for joy rides ! She is survived by one son Clyde Paul ; four daughters Dawn Bishop, Kathy Middleton, Diane Ridley and Peggy Corn all of Sylva; a sister Elizabeth Otto of Waynesville, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 10, at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Revs. Eddie Stillwell and Benny Bagwell officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 6 until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home
