Obituary of Kenneth Hutt Nicholson

Kenneth Hutt Nicholson, age 69, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Manuel and Genevieve Moody Nicholson. 

He was retired as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and continued to farm for the remainder of his life. Hutt dearly loved his family. 

He is survived by one daughter; Jennifer Nicholson and her husband; Trevor Johnson and two granddaughters; Aiden and Ali Klaire Nicholson. He is also survived by one sister; Ann (Bobby Gene) Bryson and three brothers; Jimmy (Maya) Nicholson, Bobby (Delores) Nicholson and Andy Nicholson. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Louise Ball, Peggy Hatcher and Ginger Lovedahl and four brothers; Tim, Ronnie, Howard and David Nicholson. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wike Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
