Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Holden

Mary Bray Holden, 95, of Cullowhee Mountain Road passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24th, 2012. Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Sandra (Holden) Horsman and her husband David of Chattanooga, TN. Two sons, John Holden and his wife Lois of Jasper, TN and Arthur Holden of Ooltewah, TN, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a long term resident of Cullowhee and retiree of Western Carolina University. She was a member of Speedwell United Methodist Church and of East La Porte Eastern Star. Visitation will be held at Appalachian Funeral Home Wednesday, September 26th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September, 27th at 2:00 pm at Speedwell United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hooper Holden Cemetery following the service. Services will be conducted by her nephew Rev. Earl Holden.
