Obituary of Gerldind Brown

Gerldind Brown, born on April 23, 1941, went to be with our Lord and Savior after an extended illness on February 15, 2020. She is survived by her beloved brother Myrl Brown and his wife Jean Brown, nephew Tony Brown and his wife Amanda Brown, niece Michelle Brown Owle and her husband Greg Owle, 3 great nephews and 2 great great nephews and many, many beloved cousins, as well as her special friends, Linda Cunningham, Barbara Matthew's, and life long friend Joanne Butell. She retired from Wolf Creek Tree Farms after over 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Reverend Lloyd C. Brown and Otelia Brown and two infant brothers as well as other beloved family members. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday February 17, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services and the funeral will be at Sols Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm with burial following at the church cemetery. Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Tommy Ashe will officiate. Tony Brown, Nathan Brown, Trent Owle, Brandon Owle, Matthew Orr, Shane Burch, and Greg Owle will serve as pallbearers. Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva, NC is serving the family.
