Obituary of Margaret Ruth Frady

Margaret Ruth Frady went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday May 3rd. She was proceeded in death by her husband Earl Frady and two brothers, Lester and Naaman Henry. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Canton & Lillian Henry. She was born on June 2nd, 1953 and was a native of Macon County but lived in the Rhodes Cove community of Sylva her entire adult life. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will sorely miss her but find comfort in knowing where she is. Ruth leaves behind a son, Scott Frady (Leslie) and a daughter Angie Whitson (Terry), four grandkids and two great grandkids. She also leaves behind a brother, Jake Henry (Shirley) of Sylva, three sisters; Nina Coggins of Cullowhee, Ada Mae Pickens and Nell Downs (Lowell) of Franklin along with a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be held at Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin at 1pm Friday May 8th with Rev. Tommy Ashe officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Jackson County Animal Shelter or charity of your choice in her honor.
