Obituary of Ella Morris

Ella Moss Morris, age 91, of Cullowhee died Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Bryson City, NC. Mrs. Morris was born April 18, 1921 in Jackson Co. NC. She is the daughter of the late Grover R. and the late Ida Elizabeth (Moody) Moss. She was a member of the Cullowhee Baptist Church and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, She was predeceased by her husband, Claude James Morris, three brothers William Edgar, John R. and James H. Moss; and one sister Elsie Raye Grace She is survived by a son, C. J Morris of Gainesville, FL; four grandchildren, Davis Lee, Timothy James, Robin D, and David Wayne Morris; and four great-grandchildren The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 21 at Cullowhee Baptist Church, with Reverends Jeffrey and Tonya Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Gardens, Sylva. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20 from 6 till 8 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC. .
