Obituary of Astor Hampton Rhinehart

Astor Hampton “Butch” Rhinehart, age 76, of Webster, NC went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2020. He was the husband of Cherry Elders Rhinehart and the son of the late Frank and Leona Mull Rhinehart. He attended Old Savannah Baptist Church for many years. He was retired after 35 years as a heavy equipment operator with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He loved Belgian horses and dearly loved his four special little buddies. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters; Ann Sutton, Beaulah Rhinehart and Virginia Mashburn and one brother; Ramsey Dills Rhinehart. Butch is survived by his wife of 47 years; Cherry Rhinehart and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Stillwell Cemetery with Rev.
