Obituary of James Clinton Bryant

James Bryant, age 74, of Waynesville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Teresa Ward Bryant and the son of the late George and Lelloween Bryant.

James loved to hunt and fish and he dearly loved his family. He was a retired welder and proudly served his country in the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son; James Earl (Jimbo) Bryant and one brother; Roy Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years; Teresa Bryant, his three children; Teresa Sills, Tracy Bryant, and Jeremy Clinton Bryant, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister; Jean (Leland) Plank, one brother; Rev. George (Brenda) Bryant, along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Franklin Cemetery in Sylva, NC with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating.
