Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Bryson

Mary Elizabeth Worley Bryson, 77, of Sylva, NC passed away Wednsday, June 24, 2020. She is the daughter of the late James Jackson and Bessie Lee Worley. She was the wife of the late Daniel Bryson Sr. who passed away in 2006.

Mary is survived by four children, Ronnie Worley, Gary Bryson, Kimberly Bryson Marrinan and husband Randy and Lena Bradleigh Skyler Wykle; two step children, Glenda Jean Bryson Jacobs and Patricia Ann Armstrong; Grandchildren, Marcus Bryson, Ronnie Bryson, A.J Jacobs, Cypriane Jacobs, Imani-Nia Jacobs, Noah Daniel Bryson, Nevaeh Bryson and Garret Hoyle, and one sister; Lora Jean "Cookie" Blassingame.  She is also survived by a very special friend Peggy Hall

She was preceded in death by one son Daniel Bryson Jr. and one grandchild Mickey Bryson. 

Mary was a member of her home church Liberty Baptist Church. She worked as a house keeper for over 20 years working at Western Carolina University and Broughton Hospital. She loved helping people in the community and was a woman of God. 

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Charles Lee officiating. The family will recieve friends from 10:00am - 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will take place at Parris Cemetery. 

Appalachian Funral Services is handling arrangements for the family and also asking everyone attending to please bring a mask as it is now requred to wear anyime you are in the building.
