Obituary of Richard Allen Guenther

Richard Allen Guenther, 59, of Tuckasegee, NC passed away August 9, 2020. He was born February 4, 1961 in San Diego, CA to the late Charles Guenther and Lauretta (Puckett) Guenther. He graduated from Cullowhee High School and was a member of Shepherd Of The Hills Lutheran Church, Sylva, NC.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauretta Rose Guenther of Tuckasegee; a son, Patrick McChesney of Sylva; stepdaughter, Kaily Powell of Rosman; fiancee, Pam Chastain of Tuckasegee, mother of Lauretta and Kaily; two brothers, Mike (Leah) Guenther of West Union, SC, and Bob (Terri) Guenther of Virginia Beach, VA. Also surviving are several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Travis Carnes.

No funeral services are planned. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
