Obituary of Hazel Ashe

Hazel Ashe, age 76, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Bertha Ashe. 

Hazel was a member of Speedwell Baptist Church. She dearly loved her siblings. She also loved her nieces and nephews as well as her animals.   

She is survived by one brother Johnny Ashe and several special nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart. 

Preceding her in death are seven siblings, Violet Mae Connor, Kathryn Dietz, Milas Newton Ashe, Charlie Ashe, Margaret Jane Ashe, Jimmy Ashe, and Barbara Ann Mills.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Hooper-Speedwell Cemetery with Rev. Clemmey Queen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services prior to the service.
