Obituary of Ann Ivalee Taylor
Ann Ivalee Childers Taylor, 78, of the Savannah Community, was escorted home by her husband Sunday September 6, 2020. A native of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late John B. and Jeanette Childers.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a Member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a hair stylist by trade and she loved and enjoyed painting pictures.
In addition to her husband William Taylor and her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers; Johnny and Robert Childers and also by her sister, Betty Frady.
She is survived by her children;
William (Kim) Taylor of Sylva
Cindy (David) Shuler of Sylva
Calvin (Melody) Taylor of Bryson City
Stephanie Taylor of the home
12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren
Siblings- - Marie Swanger of Waynesville, Joyce (Warren) DuPree of Sylva, Ray (Sandy) Childers of Sylva, Terrie Childers of Myrtle Beach, SC
numerous nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday September 11 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Dennis Burrell and Roger Stewman officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Savannah Cemetery.
