Obituary of Narviel Ashley Powell

Narviel Powell, age 76, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 20, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Linda Powell and the son of the late Troy and Edith Powell.

He loved to attend Tilley Creek Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and wood working. He dearly loved his family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Narviel was preceded in death by two sisters; Joyce McMahan and Bobbie Sue Powell; and one brother, David Powell.

He is survived by one son; Ben (Cathy) Powell; one grandson, Camren Powell; three brothers; William, Wayne, and Randy Powell; two sisters, Cathy Sitton and JoAnn Gibson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
