Obituary of Sarah W Moody

Sarah Warren Moody, age 61, of Webster died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Medwest Harris of Sylva, NC. Sarah was born January 19, 1950 in El Paso, TX. She is the daughter of the late William Jackson Warren and the late Bertie Lee (Watson) Warren. She was married to Michael Wayne Moody. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by Autumn Care Of Waynesville. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite color was red. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her husband; three daughters: Jackie Price of Waynesville, Tracy Extine and Jill Matulis, both of Sylva; a brother, Paul Warren of Sylva; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva on Wednesday, July 6 from 1 until 3 pm, with the funeral following in the chapel of Appalachian at 3:00 pm. The funeral will be officiated by Roger Stewman.
