Obituary of James Edward Hendry
James “Jim” Hendry, age 82, of Whittier, NC and also of Lake Placid, FL, passed away on September 25, 2020 at his home in Whittier surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dawn Hendry and the son of the late J. Russell and Olive Hendry.
A retired high school educator, Jim dearly loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years; Dawn Hendry, one son; Charles, and two daughters; Cheryl and Connie. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time per Jim’s wishes.
