Jim and I worked together for most of our careers at Western Carolina University. Over these years, I and the University were privileged to have the benefits of his knowledge, experience, and wise counsel. He will remain in my memory as a singularly gifted and committed professional whose work for a quarter-century was central to planning, development, and maintenance of the WCU campus. After a long and fruitful life, may he rest in peace.
