Obituary of David Allen Shiek
David Allen Shiek, 79. of Whittier, NC, passed away Sunday October 18, 2020 after a short, but valiant battle with cancer.
David was an avid story teller, jokester, friend, loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Anne, son, Allen and daughter, Susan and his sister Kay
David was also a dedicated animal lover.
The family requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to Western Carolina Dog Fanciers Association (a 501C3 organization) to further the club's work in disaster relief. Donations by check should be mailed to the clubs Treasurer at 720 Woodbine Dr., Waynesville, NC 28875 or through the club's web site at wcdfa.org
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
