Obituary of Tim Foxworth

Tim Foxworth, 62, of Sylva, passed away Friday November 6, 2020. Tim resided in Jackson County most of his life and was the son of Gladys Ann German of Sylva and the late Leaman Foxworth. 

Tim was a Member of Gates City Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. He had a great heart and was a very giving person. He was a cross country truck driver and was an entrepreneur. He was involved with restaurants, Jiffy Lubes, was a policeman for awhile, and lastly an Uber driver. He was also very athletic, he played three different sports and was an all conference catcher on the 1975 State Championship Baseball team at Cullowhee High School. 

In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his brother Dan.

He is survived by his mother Gladys Ann German of Sylva

His children- Joshua Foxworth of Asheville, Seth Foxworth of Asheville, Ashley (Reinaldo) Valdez of Asheville and Drew Fox of Cullowhee

Grandchildren- Mariah Foxworth, Camden Parker, Ashley J. Valdez, Christian Foxworth, Juliana Valdez and Presley Foxworth

Great Grandchild- Mateo Parker

Brother- Roger Foxworth of Cullowhee also survives

Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Monday November 9, 2020 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Phillip Kelly Witt and Greg Moore officating. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home
