Obituary of Catherine Susan Foxx

Catherine Susan Foxx, age 48, of Sylva died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Mission Campus in Asheville, NC. Mrs. Foxx was born February 24, 1964 in Sylva, NC. She is the daughter of the late Eldon Cabe. Catherine and Barry were foster parents and she helped teach Sunday school class at the nursing home. She volunteered as a mentor for girls with addictions. She was a member of the Watauga Baptist church. She was employed by North Carolina Department of Transportation. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Barry Foxx and her mother Anne (Fisher) Cabe. One son Ty and wife Kieran Foxx of Goldsboro, NC Two daughters Haley Foxx and Kajol Patel of Sylva. A brother Bill Cabe of Sylva and two sisters Cindy Cabe and Christi Young. The funeral will be held 7:00 pm on Friday, November 16 at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Benny Bagwell and Rev. Wesley Price officiating. Burial will be in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:00 Am Saturday November 17, 2012 in Sylva. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday November 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be the Roadside Environmental Department crew with the NC Department of Transportation. .
