Obituary of Myrtle Burns

Myrtle Williams Burns, 88, Passed away Saturday evening December 26, 2020. A native of Graham County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Goldman and Miranda Williams.

A Devout Christian, Mrytle enjoyed reading her Bible and attending Bible study. She also enjoyed singing and in her younger days sang with the Williams Trio. She loved all animals especially birds, and loved attending to her flowers. 

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands; Fred Holcombe and Herbert Burns as well as five of her siblings.

She is survived by her son. Mark (Maria) Holcombe of Sylva

Grandson- Clint Holcombe of Sylva

Sister- Helen Kitchen of Whittier

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Fairview Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Farmer officiating.
