Shirley was such a sweet, sweet lady. We became acquainted with she and Dag when they lived at Ochre HIll. Heaven has welcomed a beautiful angel back home. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Dag at Jackson Paper and that is how i met Shirley. She made most of my beautiful Christmas gifts for me .I remember seeing her cooking on WLOS Carolina Kitchen . She was a very special and kind woman. God Bless your family.

I first met Miss Shirley when my Dad was at Skyland....then later my Mom was there . We became fast friends. I loved her spunk and sweet spirit. My prayers go out to all her family and friends. I know she is surrounded by all Gods children up in heaven with a hugh smile on her face.

Jim and I are so saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. We always loved her and Dag. We especially loved her children's sermons. The adults learned so much from listening to them. I also have one of her special dolls that she made. We pray that her family will be comforted to know that they will see Shirley again one day soon. Prayers for peace and comfort today and in the days ahead. Much love coming your way.....

Ms. Shirley was a wonderful lady. She taught our children at Scott's Creek Church.
We then reunited at Skyland Care when my mom was there. She was a wonderful, kind lady. We were blessed by her being in our lives. Our prayers are with Debbie & Ms. Shirley's family.
