Our memories of Shirley will always include her pleasant smile and great personality. When members of our family were having health problems, Shirley always showed a great concern for their well being. So sorry for your loss but you will always have loving memories of Shirley to share.

Mr. Harold and Family,
Mrs. Shirley was the sweetest person. She always had a loving smile and big heart, and a kind word of encouragement to say to others. May God continue to comfort you all.

Harold and Family,
Shirley was always known as being friendly to everyone. She was a devoted worker to any job during her employment years. I especially remember when Shirley was a waitress at the Parkway Resturant in Sylva. You and I would sometimes park our big W. C. Hennessee Lumber Company tractor-trailers on the opposite side of Asheville Highway and eat breakfast there before cranking up and and driving to some destination hundreds of miles away, such as New York City, Chicago or Miami .

Harold and family,
Shirley was a strong Christian lady that let her faith shine through by helping and encouraging others. Our hearts feel your sorrow but also rejoice knowing Shirley is now "home". May you be surrounded by God's peace and comfort in the coming days.
