Obituary of Janice Darlene Madden

Janice Darlene Madden, age 77 of Cullowhee NC, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021.   She was born on October 17, 1943, in Los Angeles CA, to the late Allen and Faye (Easley) Madden.

Janice enjoyed playing bingo and Yahtzee.  She worked most of her life as a grouchy, big rig truck driver.

She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Jerry Lee (Tina) Misner PA, Candice (Jerry) Hancock of TX, Dawn Misner of Cullowhee, Ginger (David) Crisp of Sylva; sister, Judith Rains of Cullowhee; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Alvin Madden of CA, Bill Madden of TX, David Madden of NC, Tryla Boykin of TX, Barbara Cauble of TX; and gradaughter, Megan Misner

Interment has taken place at Shook Cemetery, Tuckasegee NC.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva.
