Obituary of LaVerne Hostetler Pennington

LaVerne Hostetler Pennington, 83, of Whittier passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. The daughter of the late George and Joanna Kane Hostetler, she was born in Covington, Kentucky, was raised in Pennsylvania and had lived in North Carolina for over 50 years. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and cooking. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jim and sister Jan. She is survived by 2 Sons- Clark and his wife Alice Singo of Pennsylvania Robert and his wife Maggie Singo of Clyde 2 Daughters- Vivian and her husband Odie Hyatt of Ela Jean and her husband Ray Davis of Whittier 4 Stepchildren- Greg, Jimmy, Chris and Ganetta all of Louisiana 2 Sisters- Delores and Bonnie 1 Brother- Butch 8 Grandchildren No Services are planned at this time and will be announced Appalachian Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements
