Obituary of Shirley Ann Rich

Shirley Ann Hawkins Rich, 71, of Lyman, SC, was granted her eternal rest with Jesus Christ our Savior on Wednesday February 10. She was born in Spartanburg SC on October 28, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Veiga Mae Longshore Hawkins and Ervin C Bud Hawkins.

She was the devoted wife of 50 years to Gordon Keith Rich, Sr.  and the loving and devoted mother to her son Gordon Keith Rich, Jr. of Lyman, SC and daughter Angie Woodhurst of Hodges, SC.

Her pride and joy in life was being Nana to Rebecca Rich and Austin Rich of Lyman SC, Zack Woodhurst of Hodges, SC, and Kayla Roberts and husband Daniel of Abbeville, SC. Meme to Jase Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Birchmore.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 pm Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Sherrill Cemetery in Whittier, NC
