Obituary of Marcia Faye Sneed

Marcia Faye Bowers Sneed, age 55 of Tuckasegee NC, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021.   She was born on May 16, 1965, in Macon County, to Jesse and Callie (Watson) Bowers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Sneed; mother, Callie (Watson) Bowers; sister, Dinah Bowers Barton; and brothers, James Bowers and John Bowers.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Bowers.

Marcia was the best person we have ever known.  She always loved and cared for her family.  She made an impact on the world for Jesus by giving others hope, comfort, and joy.  She gave bibles to people around the world so they could have the Word of God.  Marcia wrote in her bible that she hoped she could “shine a light throughout the world”, so her life would not be in vain.

Marcia was a retired U.S. Park Ranger.  She worked on the Blue Ridge Parkway for over 25 years serving her fellow mankind.  She always loved animals, nature, and just taking a walk in the woods with her husband, Mike.  She lived her faith 24 hours a day and she is now home with all the others that have preceded her.  Marcia will be greatly missed by all of us, and your impact on the people that have known you will live on.  We will be with you soon.  WE LOVE YOU.

Marcia has been interred in Bowers Watson Cemetery, Tuckasegee.
