Obituary of Jamie Keith Buchanan

Jamie Keith Buchanan passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2021 at the age of 52.

Jamie was born in Sylva NC to the late James Grover Buchanan and Shirley Juanita Olvey Long. Jamie graduated from Sylva-Webster High School in 1987. 

Jamie is survived by his parents, Lee Roy and Shirley Juanita Long; his siblings, Jennifer Ann (Bobby) Bright, Johnny Wayne (Diane) Buchanan, Misti Lee (Robert) Webb, and Tommy Fowler; his wife, Kimberly Ann Buchanan; his children, Casey Shane (Brooke) Buchanan and Colbie Shawn (Adrienne) Buchanan; and three grandchildren, Cadence Buchanan, Makayla Buchanan, and Kamdyn Buchanan.

Funeral Services will be provided by Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC on Friday April 9, 2021.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm, followed by a short service in the chapel at Appalachian Funeral Services at 1:00 pm.  A grave side service for immediate family only will follow at the Franklin Family Cemetery on Long Branch Church Road in Sylva NC. Reverend Caleb Kelly will officiate the services.  The family will accept donations in lieu of flowers.
